American Music Abroad will be hosting several fundraising programs leading up to the tour. Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for announcements from the AMA office. Many students have successfully secured sponsorships to help cover their tour expenses.
Common sponsors include: churches or religious organizations you’re affiliated with, service groups like the VFW, American Legion, Rotary International, and of course, friends and family. Offering to give a presentation upon your return is often an effective way to attract sponsorship.
Below are some resources to help you secure sponsors.
We receive rave reviews from our students, vendors and concert goers throughout Europe!
“I cannot begin to describe to you haw amazing this trip truly was for me. You have done something that I did not know was possible and changed 150 lives in three weeks. Your hard work and dedication to this trip is amazing and it is what made the trip the experience that it was. I want to thank you for inviting me on this tour and changing my life forever.”
“Having been the only participant from my high school, I wondered how I would become good friends with others. I have many many special friendships. To share an experience such as this one with others creates a bond with them. I have learned so much from this trip. From the rich history of Europe to the workings of relationships.”
“I am so delighted that my son is feeling the freedom of the experience and is able to separate in a way that feels quite natural. It is showing me that he is enjoying his newfound liberty and growing into a young adult. Our collective job is to teach them to fly. This is an experience that is allowing them that to do just that under the guidance of the leaders.”
“I wanted to let you know that my daughter had a fabulous experience with American Music Abroad. She loved the program, the travel and the music. She said she looked forward to every concert! I did not hear one negative comment about the trip. We are so thrilled that she participated this year. Thank you again for providing such an incredible opportunity for these kids.”
July 2024 was profoundly life changing. I had the honor of conducting the choir for the Empire Tour with American Music Abroad. It was my first time working with this company and the first time I had ever been to Europe. I had known about AMA for quite some time and was aware of the amazing opportunities it offered young musicians, but to be a PART of it was something entirely different altogether. The organization – both behind the scenes with AMA and the work that was done by our lead directors – BLEW ME AWAY! I have been in charge of countless field trips, and this was a well-oiled machine!
