Saturday, June 6—Sunday, June 7—COLLEGE REHEARSAL
Check-in at a Tennessee based college campus for pre-tour orientation sessions. Two days of intensive rehearsals culminate with a Farewell Concert for family and friends on the evening of June 7.
Monday, June 8—USA—BERLIN
Transfer to departing airport for your transatlantic flight to Europe. Dinner and overnight onboard your flight.
Tuesday, June 9—BERLIN—LEIPZIG
Upon arrival in Berlin, transfer by coach to Leipzig, which was home to J.S. Bach during his adult years and is the current residence of the famous Gewandhaus Orchestra. Enjoy free time for lunch and exploring. Check into your first European hotel for a traditional dinner and overnight in Leipzig.
Wednesday, June 10—KARLOVY VARY—PRAGUE
The journey continues onward into the Czech Republic with a stop in the spa town of Karlovy Vary. After enjoying free time for lunch, set up in the Colonnade for you first European performance! That evening, arrive in Prague and dine in a local restaurant. Overnight in Prague, the “City of a Hundred Spires.”
Thursday, June 11—PRAGUE
The day begins with a walking tour of Prague’s Old Town, followed by independent lunchtime around Old Town Square. In the afternoon, transfer to a local concert venue for rehearsal and an evening performance. The evening concludes with a scenic dinner cruise on the Vltava River. Overnight in Prague.
Friday, June 12—PRAGUE—VIENNA
Journey through the Bohemian countryside on your way to Vienna with a stop for lunch and sightseeing in the fairytale town of Telč. Upon arrival in Vienna, visit the famous Composer Cemetery and enjoy time in the famous Prater amusement park, home to a Ferris Wheel that dates back to 1897. Enjoy dinner at a restaurant within the park before checking into your Vienna hotel for the night.
Saturday, June 13—VIENNA
The morning begins with a choir performance at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, followed by a guided tour of Vienna and a possible visit to the Vienna State Opera. After lunch along Kärntner Straße, take a tour of Schönbrunn Palace, the extravagant Baroque summer residence of the Hapsburg dynasty. The evening includes a lively dinner with traditional Viennese music and waltzing. Overnight in Vienna.
Sunday, June 14—BRATISLAVA—VIENNA
Travel east into Slovakia, arriving in the city of Bratislava. Free time for lunch, followed by an afternoon cruise along the Danube river. Return to Vienna for dinner and overnight.
Monday, June 15—SALZBURG—WESTENDORF
Travel through scenic Austrian landscapes as you make your way to the scenic town of Westendorf. First, a stop in Salzburg, with a stroll through Mirabell Gardens, followed by free time for lunch and exploring. Continue to the alpine town of Westendorf. Following dinner, the night climaxes with a festive Tirolean evening with local culture, music, and dancing. Overnight in Westendorf.
Tuesday, June 16—WESTENDORF
Your day in Westendorf is free. Partake in fun local activities such as hiking or picnicking atop the mountain. A ski lift ride provides a fantastic view of the valley. The evening concludes with dinner and a concert performance in town. Overnight in Westendorf.
Wednesday, June 17—RATTENBERG—GLACIER—ZILLERTAL
Today’s full-day excursion begins with a visit to Rattenberg to see a glass blowing demonstration. Next, travel by cable car up to Hintertux Glacier to walk in the snow and take in the view. This evening, enjoy dinner and perform your final concert in the Zillertal region before returning to Westendorf for overnight.
Thursday, June 18—INNSBRUCK—WESTENDORF
Travel to Innsbruck, known for its towering mountains and as the capital of the Tirol Region. Free time to stroll down Maria Theresa Strasse and view the famed Golden Roof. Visit the Grassmayr Bell Foundry, a church bell maker dating back over 400 years, currently considered Austria’s oldest family-run business. Perform your final concert locally before returning to Westendorf for dinner and overnight.
Friday, June 19—DACHAU—MUNICH
Make your final transfer to Munich, stopping along the way at the Dachau Memorial Site. Upon arrival in Munich, enjoy free time for lunch and exploring, followed by a walking tour. Check-in to your Munich hotel for the night, celebrating with a “farewell dinner” in the hotel restaurant. Overnight in Munich.
Saturday, June 20—MUNICH—USA
Transfer to Munich Airport for return to USA via scheduled flights.
